Plan to join the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations for the annual NCWBA Summit. The theme for this year’s Summit is: Women Lawyers Creating Economic Power. The morning will begin with a panel comprised of the President of the National Association of Women Judges, Massachusetts Court of Appeals Judge, Fernande R. V. Duffly and the Honorable Nancy Gertner of the United State District Court for the District of Massachusetts, discussing the NAWJ Report Card Project, how the attrition of women from the profession will adversely affect the bench, and ways to reverse this trend.

There will be a panel discussion on Equality and Retention Initiatives and women’s bar associations will each share one project that has been successful and the secrets to such success. At the luncheon, the NCWBA Foundation will present the Public Service and Project Awards. The Summit also will contain a surprise guest speaker and a joint round table with other women’s legal organizations.
