Osprey Foundation

One of the highest priorities for this website was visual impact. During the family's travels to the various places where they are making grants, they had taken a lot of beautiful photos. We selected the strongest ones, and then made them shine through simple uses of complementary colors. In the background -- and this is more visible on a large or widescreen monitor -- is a mountain village in Guatemala. In the foreground, the image carousel rotates through four striking photos; each photo represents a major issue focus area of the foundation (ecological, social empowerment, health & wellness, and interfaith).

Up to this point, the foundation has been very private about where and why they've made their investments in social change. They're taking care with going more public, and as of now, they've not named any grantees in particular. However, they do talk about why they've chosen to invest their energy and resources in certain locations. This is shown on a simple and streamlined map on the homepage, and also through text descriptions under "where we work."

In the future, the website will include more information about the recipients, more details about the projects that are supported, and more stories about the impact of the foundation's work.
