Grassroots Policy Project launched the Strategic Practice site as a place for dialog and reflection about how social movement organizations make their day-to-day work – including immediate campaigns – add up to more, to advance long-term goals for social transformation.

Sandra Hinson and other contributors have been writing commentary for the Grassroots Policy Project site for years. That commentary has been given a prominent place in the new site.

Papers

Grassroots Policy Project has published a large number of papers about Strategy and Strategic Practice, as well as related topics including Power, Racial Justice, Worldview, and Corporate Power. These papers are presented on the site through information on their trainings and projects, and ideas in action.

The papers are organized primarily by where and when they may most likely be used, but also by topic through categories, so site users will be able to find related papers more easily.

In addition to publishing their papers on the site, they have licensed their papers through Creative Commons, making them free for all to use noncommercially, with attribution.
